Wikipedia rules: (my sister's name is Alina)
Alina is a female surname of slavic origin. It's possible meanings are "light" and "noble."
Some Alina obviously wrote that in there to promote her own name. I actually couldn't resist and added it to the Russian version of Wikipedia too - 'cause it wasn't there at all.
